Transcribes what you give it

Upload an audio or video file from your own device, or submit a link to a podcast episode you want to study. Transcripts carry timestamps and speaker labels, and you can rename the speakers once you know who is who.

Keeps the audio and the text together

Click any sentence to hear it. The transcript follows along while the audio plays, word by word where the timing allows. Scrolling away is temporary; playback pulls the page back after a few seconds.

Answers questions across your whole library

Ask a question and Leo Notes works out which of your transcripts are worth reading, shows you the shortlist with a reason for each, and answers only once you approve it. Every claim in the answer carries a citation you can click to hear the original audio at that moment.

Cleans up and translates

Automatic transcription arrives with poor punctuation and no paragraphs. Leo Notes can rewrite it into something readable without changing what was said, and translate it while keeping timestamps and speakers intact. The original is never replaced.

Your allowance and what you have used are shown live in the app, in dollars, before you spend anything. Nothing runs without you starting it.

Top-ups from $10 CAD

If you use more than your monthly allowance, you can buy additional credit as a one-time purchase. Credit does not expire while your subscription is active. There is no automatic overage billing: when the allowance and credit run out, processing stops and asks you first.

Billing, cancellation and refunds

The subscription is billed monthly in advance, in Canadian dollars, and renews automatically until you cancel.
Cancel any time from your account page. Access continues to the end of the month you have paid for and does not renew after that.
Unused top-up credit is refundable within 30 days of purchase. Email us and we return it.
If we bill you in error, or a transcript fails on our side, we refund it.
Applicable sales tax is added at checkout. Payments are handled by Stripe; Leo Notes never sees your card details.

How your material is handled

Your transcripts are private to your account. They are not published, not shared between accounts, not indexed by search engines, and not used to train any model.
You choose every source. Nothing is transcribed unless you upload it or submit its link.
Your data is stored in Canada. Speech recognition and the AI features use third-party providers, some outside Canada. The privacy policy names them.
You can delete anything, any time, including your whole account.

Availability

Leo Notes is a paid subscription service, currently in private beta. Accounts are opened by invitation while we work closely with a small first group of subscribers. Write to hello@leonotes.ca with a line about what you listen to and we will send you one.
